Paddle Richmond: SUP & kayak on the Thames

Experienced paddleboarders and kayakers can hire boards or boats to go on their own self-guided adventure on the Thames. Our hire sessions give you all of the kit you need to go paddling. After a safety briefing we put you on the water from our slipway, and the rest of the time is yours. Go to the pub, float behind idyllic islands, or use the time for a work-out. It's your choice!

Prices start at £39 for two-hours, and,  for paddleboarding, there are various paddle and board upgrades available. You can mix and match paddleboards and kayaks. You can even hire a wetsuit if you're feeling chilly.

Note that for SUP hire specifically, you and everyone paddleboarding in your group, must be competent paddleboarders, and either have had at least one previous lesson with an established SUP school or hold a paddleboarding qualification from a recognised awarding body e.g. BSUPA, British Canoeing or WSA.
