You'll join a group of paddlers on an idyllic stretch of river. Your guide will either take you upriver towards Ham House, or downriver towards Isleworth Ait. All trips return back to our Richmond base, and we have facilities for you to store your belongings for the duration of the session.

We're sure that once you've paddled once, you'll want to do it again, so completing the session allows you to come back at a discounted returning paddler rate. Just select the returning option and enter your returner code when booking.

Paddle and Pick Eco Trips

Selected Weekday evenings

Returning Paddlers £25pp

Help clean up the river by coming on a plastic clean-up session with us. We know the Thames is not just a beautiful place to paddle, but is also one of the most important wildlife corridors in the UK. We'd like to make sure it remains a safe place for wildlife above and below water.

You will be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames, either upstream towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick.

We will provide you with gloves and a litter picker, paddle, buoyancy aid, and of course a board. After a safety briefing our experienced coaches will then take you out on the Thames to help us remove as much plastic from the water as possible. You'll leave the items with us at the end of the trip and we will make sure to recycle as much of it as is possible.

Post-Work Paddle

Selected Weekday Evenings

Beginners £65

Retruning Paddlers £35

Let the stress of the working week float away as we take you on an evening paddleboard adventure to one of London's most picturesque pubs.

Richmond is an absolutely idyllic and very safe location for stand-up paddleboarding, and you’ll be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames. This 2.5 hour session is open to both beginners and more experienced paddlers.

After a short briefing on paddle safety and technique we'll head out onto the river. Depending on tide and conditions we will either head upriver towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth and Kew Gardens.

We'll choose a place for you and your team to stop for a relaxing drink of your choice (not included in price) and then enjoy the gentle paddle back to base near Richmond Bridge.

From there you can continue your evening at one of the many bars and restaurants in the area, or you can head home, feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend

Dawn Patrol

Various Days

Two-Hour Session

Join us for one of our early morning paddles on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames. The river is usually very quiet with amazing light and lots of wildlife at this time.

This trip is open to people who have paddled on one of Active360's sessions on the tidal Thames before, and who are reasonably confident on their board. After a reintroduction to paddle safety and technique we'll head out onto the river.

Depending on tide and conditions we will either head upriver towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth and Kew Gardens.

Intermediate Paddle and River Skills

A range of sessions for those who have paddled with Active 360 on the Thames before.

Two - Hours £29pp

Running a couple of times a week, this class is for paddlers looking to improve their skills, technique, safety and confidence on moving water.

These trips run either side of High Tide, allowing you to work on your ability to paddle with and against a current, and to experiment with different paddle strokes. You'll also gain further insight into safety on the river.

You need to be a confident paddler and have previously paddled with Active360 on the tidal part of the River Thames.

If you haven't, you can join any of our other lessons to get a bit more experience before joining one of these sessions

Hampton Court to Richmond Expedition

Four-Hours paddling

On this one way trip, you will be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames, initially upstream to Molesey Lock in order to get the best view of Hampton Court Palace, and after that downstream towards Thames Ditton, Surbiton, Kingston, Teddington and then on to Richmond.

We will meet you at Ditton Beach (equidistant from Hampton Court or Thames Ditton railway stations). After a safety briefing we will start on our one-way trip to Richmond. This is a fantastic point-to-point trip passing through town and countryside, and will include stops for a coffee and/or a bite to eat.

Note that this trip is currently only open to those who have paddled with Active360 on the Thames previously, and is not suitable for Beginners.

2 - 6 people

7 - 12 people

13 - 18 people

All the benefits of our Beginner and Improver Sessions, but with a private guided experience for just you, or a select group of friends or family. You'll get all the same coaching and safety guidance, but you can go at your own pace, and as long as it's possible, stop for a coffee or ice-cream along the way.

These sessions are great for someone looking for a special gift, and as with all of our sessions it's possible to buy this session as a gift voucher and choose the date at your leisure.

We also find the single person booking is fantastic for those who are less confident arount water as our fantastic guides will be with you every step, or paddle of the way.

This session is open to paddlers of all abilities, from complete beginners, to those who have paddled many times before. Children over 10 are welcome if they paddle with their parents.
