Paddleboard with Active360 Richmond

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is the world's fastest growing watersport. It's a fantastic way to see the world from a new viewpoint, to get fit, and to make new friends.

Active360 Richmond offer a range of paddleboard trips, lessons and adventures to suit anybody on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames in Richmond, London.

We want to engender a passion for the River Thames and the surrounding waterways and paddleboarding in Richmond is the perfect way to do that.

Once you've decided that paddleboarding is your new favourite hobby, then we're here to help you learn new skills, plan adventures, or get the new SUP kit you need.

We are pleased to announce that we are now offering paddleboard rental, and self-guided expeditions for single-household groups at our Richmond site, and at Hampton Court. Follow the link below to see the available sessions. If you aren't comfortable with paddling without a guide, we are still offering our fantastic 1:1 coached sessions at both sites.

Two-hour Private Paddleboard Sessions

Private one to one 2-hour paddleboarding lesson - just for you!

£59pp

Now that the initial lockdown restrictions have been eased, we are allowed to run 1:1 SUP sessions with one person per paddleboard coach. If you and another person from your household want to get out of the house together, they can book a separate SUP session running at a similar time, which we can run with a second coach. All equipment will be disinfected between every session, and social distancing will be respected.

Paddleboarding is a great way to keep fit, make friends, have fun and to see a different side of the city. Join our trips and we'll show you the basics of paddle safety, and paddle technique, including turns, self-rescue, and of course, how to stand-up!

We're pleased to say that we are now offering these trips from our traditional Richmond riverside base - where you'll get to paddle past Ham House, and have a chance of seeing the Thames seal - and from Hampton Court Palace!

We're sure that once you've paddled once, you'll want to do it again, so completing the SUP session allows you to come back at a discounted returning paddler rate. Just select the returning option and enter your details when booking.

Paddle and Pick Eco Trips

We're sorry, but our Paddle and Pick Eco trips are not running at the moment. They will return once social distancing restrictions are eased.

Help clean up the river by coming on a plastic clean-up session with us. We know the Thames is not just a beautiful place to paddle, but is also one of the most important wildlife corridors in the UK. We'd like to make sure it remains a safe place for wildlife above and below water.

You will be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames, either upstream from Richmond towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick. It is a great way to see some of the most beautiful areas of south-west London while paddleboarding.

We will provide you with gloves and a litter picker, paddle, buoyancy aid, and of course a board. After a safety briefing our experienced coaches will then take you out on the Thames to help us remove as much plastic from the water as possible. You'll leave the items with us at the end of the trip and we will make sure to recycle as much of it as is possible.

Post-Work Paddle

We're sorry, these sessions are not running at the moment. We will be running them again once social distancing restrictions have been eased.

Let the stress of the working week float away as we take you on an evening paddleboard adventure on the water with a chilled out stop for a drink at a charming riverside pub.

Richmond is an absolutely idyllic and very safe location for stand-up paddleboarding, and you’ll be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames. This 2.5 hour session is open to both beginners and more experienced paddlers.

After a short briefing on paddle safety and technique we'll head out onto the river. Depending on tide and conditions we will either head from Richmond upriver towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth and Kew Gardens.

From there you can head home, feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend.
