Paddleboard with Active360 Richmond
Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is the world's fastest growing watersport. It's a fantastic way to see the world from a new viewpoint, to get fit, get outdoors, and to make new friends.
At Active360 Richmond we offer a range of paddleboard lessons, trips, expeditions and adventures to suit anybody on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames, starting from our base in Richmond, or from Hampton Court. We're here to help you learn new skills, plan adventures, or get the new SUP kit you need.

Two-hour Paddleboard Sessions
Join us on a group paddleboard session (max 5 people) for only £59 for two hours. Or book a private lesson for you and your friends or family with prices starting at just £69 per head. Discounts for children and regular customers.
Paddleboarding is a great way to keep fit, make friends, have fun and to see a different side of the city. Join our trips and we'll show you the basics of paddle safety, and paddle technique, including turns, self-rescue, and of course, how to stand-up!
You will be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames, either upstream towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick.
Note that social distancing is maintained during our sessions, and that all equipment is disinfected between every session.
We're sure that once you've paddled once, you'll want to do it again, so completing the SUP session allows you to come back at a discounted returning paddler rate. Just select the returning option and enter your details when booking.
SUP Rental
Experienced paddleboarders can rent boards and go on their own adventure on the Thames. Our two hour rental sessions give you all of the kit you need to go paddling. After a safety briefing we put you on the water at our pontoon, and the rest of the time is yours. Go to the pub, float behind idyllic islands, or use the time for a work-out. It's your choice!
Prices start at £30 for two-hours, but you can upgrade to three hour sessions, choose racing boards and paddles, or wetsuits if you feel the cold!
Prior paddleboard experience for all members of the group is essential. If you, or any members of your group arrive and do not have experience we will have to cancel the session. This is for your safety, and the safety of others on the busy Thames.
Paddle and Pick Eco Trips
Help clean up the river by coming on a plastic clean-up session with us. We know the Thames is not just a beautiful place to paddle, but is also one of the most important wildlife corridors in the UK. We'd like to make sure it remains a safe place for wildlife above and below water.
On our plastic pick-up sessions we usually paddle from Richmond Bridge downstream past Richmond Lock towards Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick. We’ll see plenty of wildlife and interesting river activity on the way, as well as helping to clean up the beautiful river Thames.
We will provide you with gloves and a litter picker, paddle, buoyancy aid, and of course a board. After a safety briefing our experienced coaches will then take you out on the Thames to help us remove as much plastic from the water as possible. You'll leave the items with us at the end of the trip and we will make sure to recycle as much of it as is possible.
Post-Work Paddle
Let the stress of the working week float away as we take you on an evening paddleboard adventure on the water with a chilled out stop for a drink at a beautiful riverside pub.
Richmond is an absolutely idyllic and very safe location for stand-up paddleboarding, and you’ll be paddling on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames. This 2.5 hour session is open to both beginners and more experienced paddlers.
After a short briefing on paddle safety and technique we'll head out onto the river. Depending on tide and conditions we will either head from Richmond upriver towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington, or downstream towards Isleworth and Kew Gardens.
From there you can head home, feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend.
